An academic paper covering some of the work on Policy Cloud by partner University of Piraeus has been published by IOS Press in Volume 281: Public Health and Informatics.

The paper raises the contemporary issue of the effects of Big Data on devices, people and organisations.

To address some of these challenges, the paper outlines a Data Cleaning approach, designed to filter the non-important data. This functionality of the Data Cleaning is evaluated in the use case of Global Terrorism Data, to create better policies on the basis of how terrorism is affecting national healthcare.
